Injection Snoreplasty

Injection snoreplasty is a nonsurgical, minimally invasive treatment for snoring. There is little to no pain involved, and you can return to work and other activities immediately.

Performed right here in our office, this simple procedure treats snoring that results from soft palate vibration. Prior to the procedure, a topical anesthesia is used to numb the inside of your mouth. Medication is then injected into the midline of the upper palate, causing an ulceration. Scar tissue will then form over the ulceration, tightening the palate and reducing the vibrations that cause snoring during sleep.

Injection snoreplasty produces lasting, often permanent results, even for chronic snorers. However, you may need more than one treatment to eliminate snoring altogether. Our sleep medicine specialists will personalize your snoring treatment plan and determine how many treatments you may need for best results.
