I recently had balloon sinuplasty, turbinate reductions, and septoplasty done with Dr. Wassmuth. Everyone from the front desk, Cassie with insurance and scheduling and Victor, his nurse and the anesthesiologist were amazing. Dr. Wassmuth never is rushed during my appointments and explains everything thoroughly. His gentle approach with treatment, exam and wanting the best possible outcome for you is paramount in how he operates. My dad had a septoplasty where it made things worse so my anxiety was pretty high and he helped alleviate that for me. I will say that post surgery fatigue is a lot to deal with but it seems a short lived thing as I heal and it will help my breathing in the long run. Dr. Wassmuth won't do more or less but will give you the options for the best outcome. I highly recommend his practice--both he and Dr. Dharamsi are great.

The people at Capital ENT & Sinus did a perfectly fine job; they processed my paperwork and insurance relatively quickly, and saw me and assessed my problem without a hitch. They are, after all, professionals.However, using Google reviews to qualitatively assess the staff's performance is probably an example of paving the road to hell with good intentions.

Dr. Wassmuth is a great ENT! After such a positive experience with Dr. Wassmuth, I also referred my husband and two daughters to his practice. He has performed surgery on myself and my young daughter when she was just 2. She had three previous surgeries, but nothing worked. He offered a different approach that provided immediate relief and resolved her issues completely (and it's been over 4 years and counting). Dr. Wassmuth offers honest, practical recommendations while also laying out all options so his patients are fully informed. He is gentle, compassionate and effective. After going through 6 ENTs in Austin, I'm glad we finally found Dr. Wassmuth!
